I thought Whitney Houston would not be able to make a comeback but she did. For seven years she was rarely heard of and when she was heard of during those seven years it was not as good news. But now it seems that the artist who has sold more than 140 million albums and won more awards than any other female performer in history is coming back for sure. We all know that Whitney had her share of ups and downs and the last seven years were mostly down for her. Now her performance on Good Morning America, which is her first public performance in seven years has shown that she's very much welcome to sing again for us and her fans hasn't forgotten her. The new Nokia XSeries music phones will be introduced to the market with the Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 becoming available by th fouth quarter of 2009. The Nokia X6 is estimated to be around EUR 450 when it comes out. The Nokia X3 will be cheaper at around EUR 115.

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake has hit the southern part of Indonesia at 2:55 p.m.(7:55GMT) The earthquake is underwater in origin and affected the southern coast of the main island of Java. According to the U.S. Geological Survey the preliminary magnitude of the earthquake is 7.0 and it has a depth of about 50 kilometers. The Indonesia earthquake, which was felt in Tasikmalaya, Bandung and surrounding areas, has caused a panic among the populace. The earthquake was also felt in Jakarta which is 200 kilometers to the north of the epicenter.

There are reports that Gmail is down. The Gmail outage was experienced by many users on September 1. But so far, Gmail status for me is good, I haven't experience the outage, I did not even know that Gmail was down until I read about it just a while ago. David Besbris, Engineering Director at Gmail, has posted the following at the Gmail Blog:

Everyone wants to see Jaycee Dugard's daughters photos but the question right now is whether it is right to show their photos or not. These children could be victims of abuse of many kinds too and their privacy should be protected so I guess it is not really proper to show their photos right now. Of course some sites have displayed Jaycee Dugard's daughters photos with their faces pixelated. The photos were taken a couple of days before Philip Garrido and his wife were arrested. The daughters of Jaycee were at a birthday party of the 16-year-old daughter of Cheyvonne Molino. Molino is a business associate of Philip Garrido and she told CBS News that she knew the girls well, "I met his daughters, I watched them grow up," she said."He dropped them off. He picked them up," she added. Molino also said that she knew Jaycee Dugard, who, according to her, was a graphic designer at Garrido's printing business. "You could always call her at any time or email," she said. She was "just your normal 20-year-old."
