Times change. When I was a kid the word "pet" can only mean a little cute animal that one takes care of, like a kitten, or a hamster, or a turtle, or rabbit, or anything cute that has a life of its own. Now, the realm of pets has expanded into the non-living animals. Many kids today have virtual pets, like in Facebook, my little son has a pet in Pet Society that he feeds and takes care of everyday. It's a virtual pet. Now another kind of pet is becoming popular among kids, the Zhu Zhu Pets which are hamsters that are battery operated. The video below shows kids playing with their Zhu Zhu Pets.
There seems to be a lot of interest lately in the Megan Wants a Millionaire contestants. The show has been cancelled because of the circumstances surrounding one of its contestants, Ryan Alexander Jenkins. Jenkins is the "person of interest" in the Jasmine Fiore murder. I guess the public is not really interested with the rest of the contestants, the interest in on Jenkins. More about Ryan Alexander Jenkins here.
Cash for Clunkers Ending. It's true, the program ends on Monday. U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said on Thursday that the Cash for Clunkers program will be shut down on Monday. Why it's ending too soon? The program was supposed to run up to November of this year but it is now cut short. The reason is clunky bureaucracy. Automobile dealers are finding it hard to get their money. The program is a big hit to the public who wants to get a new car but the dealers are not actually having a good time out of it. Two weeks after the program started the $1 billion allocated for it was depleted. Yes, it's that fast.
Another day, another bad rumor milled out. I was not really surprised when I saw that the keyword Eddie Murphy dead is trending today. I know that there are some people out there who has nothing better to do than make bad jokes and bad rumors like this one. Many celebrities became victims of such bad jokes like Britney Spears, and other really popular ones. Well, here's what I can say, Eddie Murphy is not dead.
