1Timothy 16:17 b
“…Do not trust in uncertain riches but in the living God”
Last year summer time the Lord made dadee well. Thank you for the people who prayed for him.
Last May were in a crisis again, dad hasn’t received his salary still. He should have received it at the end of the month. I cried and dad has experienced headaches due to high blood pressure (because of the situation). But the Lord reminded me when I leafed through Joshua’s picture bible exactly opening it at Noah’s story (Joshua’s favorite story by the way) where the rainbow was introduced. God reminded me not to trust on uncertain riches but on his promises. Truly the Lord has provided for us every single day.
I remember the day we got married; we had not spent from our pockets but from gifts of friends and relatives. It came out a blessing not only to us but also to every attendee’s as well. They were teary-eyed and truly celebrating with us.
The day josh came into the world we literally had no penny on our pockets. No stable job and still God was to the rescue. And now we have a stable job (?!) but still another uncertainty. Truly we should trust not on ourselves, our skills, our treasures, but on our living and loving God who provides all our needs.
