A man from Florida is claiming that he has been seeing a beach monster at the back of his home in the last few weeks. Russ Sittlow, 78, says that he's been seeing some sort of sea serpent swimming in the canals of Madeira Beach along the Pinellas County coast. This has caused some people to name it the Madeira beach monster. When told that what he saw could just be a manatee and not a sea serpent, sittlow said:
"I've swam with manatees, I've swam with sharks, I've swam with sea snakes, there is no way it's a manatee."
