I enjoyed watching it BUT .... I kept waiting for an explanation as to how the Lucas character who is presented as a barely functioning mentally handicapped guy could ALSO have been extracting whatever he was extracting and following precise directions for scientific experiments on behalf of his brother... and take care of the brother with sophisticated medical equipment, set up the computer communications etc .... same guy who didn't know the cell phone won't work underground?? Come on.. I'm no behaviour specialist, but ... that whole thing was too much of a stretch.
Also, what did I miss here? When Hotch is shot, the shooter says "You should have made a deal'/// What does this refer to?? Why the mask? He and Hotch are alone, and that comment to Hotch implies that Hotch is supposed to die knowing who killed him, so the mask is not needed. Only reason for the mask, is for the viewer to be 'puzzled' but that isn't realistic. Would have been better to have Hotch 'see' the assailant in a mirror, and 'know' what's coming.. having the viewer only hear the words.
Is it Gideon, gone mad in his mountain cabin, settling a perceived grudge???
