Have you seen the movie "Catch Me if You Can" which stars Leonardo DiCaprio? Well things like what happened in that movie could happen in real life. A Montana woman by the name of Esther Reed stole the identity of another woman to attend an Ivy League school, she scammed her way into the Ivy League, outsmarted the feds and spent nearly nine years on the run. She was just a college drop out by she was able to pull it!
Reed appears in 48 Hour Mystery at KRTV, it airs at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
"I am never very clear on why people consider me a con artist. I don't think everyone who tells a lie is a con artist," Reed said when asked how people will know she isn't conning the audience.
