Why is House in a psychiatric hospital in tonight's two-hour premiere episode? House is in a psychiatric hospital tonight because he wants to have a detox program to get the vicodin out of his system. He plans to leave the Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital once he gets cleaned up but his attending physician, Dr. Darryl Nolan forces him to stay. Dr. Nolan tells House that he will write a recommendation to reinstate House’s medical license if House agrees to stay further in the facility.The story gets hot when House is moved to another section of the hospital and meets Alvie, his roommate. Alvie's frequent visitor named Lydia also would be entangled with House and influence him into doing things that are slightly off the right path. House then asks the help of Alvie and Lydia so that he can get out of the hospital, together they bend the rules and ended up... okay I won't tell, just watch the episode.
