Is it swine flu panic or is it what? Tweetmeme has let a hoax about ‘Zombie Swine Flu’ BBC story go-unchecked. Someone has created a fake BBC News page that reports about "a new strain of the swine flu virus H1N1" which "is able to restart the heart of it’s victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during “resurrection.”

This is obviously a joke and many people retweet it because they wanted to pass the joke to friends. But it appears on Tweetmeme flagged as a genuine BBC News story. As of now this has been retweeted more than 500 times.
