One of the most prolific former NFL quarterbacks, Steve McNair was found dead in a condominium in downtown Nashville. A woman was also found dead with him. McNair was shot in the head, police said. As of now, the case is still under investigation and so far no suspect was brought into custody. Here is what Don Aaron, the police spokesman said about the case:
"I don't have any answers for you now as to what's happened, who's responsible.
There are persons who were around the complex today, visitors, who have been taken to headquarters for questioning, just to see what they know, what they may have seen.
When police officers arrived in response to that call, they found two individuals who had been shot to death inside the residence.
Steve McNair, who was 36, retired in April 2008 after 13 seasons in the league with the Houston Oilers, which later became the Titans, and Baltimore Ravens.
