This is something that could either depress you or anger you. After reading about it, I was angered, then depressed. I am talking about a boy burned by bullies. A 15 year old boy was doused with rubbing alcohol and set on fire by five kids because of a squabble over a bicycle and a video game. Michael Brewer was burned on 80% of his body and is now in critical condition in a hospital. What is really bad is that the kids who did the crime reportedly laughed when they were investigated. What is happening to the youth of today? These five kids must be charged as adults, what they did was a crime so bad that it warrants some hard punishment. They have destroyed the life of one person, they must face the consequences of their crime.

This is a severe case on revenge among young kids and violence that is occuring in our generation today. Bullying has gone so far since the past that today it should be considered a crime. My heart goes out for that little boy's family because he did not deserve to endure this. No one does. This is brutality and should not be accepted. The Government has every right to charge those boys as adults regardless of their age and hopefully they do. This isn't a situation where one should laugh, and if it is true that one of them did, the consequences that he'll face would not put a smile on his face.
newsflash-those kids wanted to do this and do not feel remorse and they will get light sentences-even with obvious attempted murder-especially since the kid Michael was caucasian, this type of thing will only increase until the perpetrators are given the same treatment and then paraded around for the world to see THEIR 2nd and 3rd degree burns and humiliated before the public.
