This episode reminds me of the novel, Tough Guys Don't Dance. Why? See this: an alcoholic man wakes up one morning to find a dead body (of a woman) beside him. The man claims that he does not know the woman. Stabler and Benson investigates the case and they have to retrace the events of the night before. They look at the angle of love triangle.
