Dorm-room televisions was filled with Woodie Awards on Friday. Why am I saying that Woodie Awards fills only dorm-room televisions? It is because mtvU, the one that shows Woodie Awards, is a cable network that is only for campuses. The audience are college students in dorm rooms. If you happen to not know what the Woodie Awards is, here is a little explanation from Music-Mix:
Woodies are golden logs given to musicians based upon student votes from across the country. According to MTV, the Woodies give us the pulse of the trend-setting campus crowd.
Here are some of the artits featured in Woodie Awards 2009: Death Cab for Cutie, Jack White and Clipse, Passion Pit, Never Shout Never and other unknown entities :P
