Matt Damon Dead. There are reports coming out that the American actor and philantropist Matt Damon was found dead in California’s Palo Verde mountain area on Wednesday. According to TMZ Damon was on a camping trip and was reported missing last Wednesday.His body was found by an Imperial County Sheriff’s Department deputy on Wednesday. The cause of his death is still unknown as of this writing. Story is developing.
Update: Matt Damon is NOT dead. I verified it and I found out that I was fooled by a website named Bollywood 91 into believing that Damon is dead. I read about it first from Bollywood 91, then I also read it in other blogs so I believed that Damon is dead and I posted about it. The most detailed account was that of Bollywood 91, I don't know where he got it but at first I thought that that blog's source is TMZ that is why I posted about it. TMZ is known to be accurate that is why when Bollywood 91 cited TMZ as its source I believed it. But I was fooled. My mistake is that I posted about it before actually checking if TMZ indeed has an article about Damon's death. It was only later that I got to check on TMZ and found out that TMZ did not have anything to do with the matt Damon dead rumor. Lesson learned: Never believe immediately, verify, verify. verify. Sorry Matt Damon.
