President Barack Obama was a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday. This is the first time that an incumbent president guested on the Late Show. Obama showed that he has a sense of humor by the way he answered some o the questions thrown at him by Letterman. “It’s important to realize that I was actually black before the election,” Obama said when Letterman asked him about former president Jimmy Carter’s declartion that racism is the reason behind recent political attacks targeted at the Obama administration. The talk also touched on war, health care, and Afganistan. Watch the Obama on Letterman video below for more of what transpired during the show.
