Mackenzie Phillips Family Secret
On Oprah tomorrow Mackenzie Phillips the actress who stared on "One Day at a Time" will reveal a "dark" family secret. Of course it is natural for people to give their attention to what Oprah has to show them tomorrow because secrets to be revealed are always appealing to the masses, especially if those family secrets come from stars. Mackenzie Phillips is the daughter of John Philips, the founder of the band The Mamas and the Papas. Those who know the Philips know that what Mackenzie Phillips will be revealing is not something about her drug addiction because it's public knowledge that she was heavily into drugs so it's no secret. It is also certainly not the thing with Mick Jagger, a family friend, who once told Mackenzie "I've been waiting for this since you were 10 years old."

The self-described "peace-loving Hindu vegetarian" half-brother of Mackenzie is obviously not happy with the Mackenzie Phillips family secret revelation on Oprah, he told New York Post : "My family is and always will be a decrepit bowl of dog urine compared to Nityananda of Ganeshpuri. That is how great Nityananda is. Worship Nityananda, not the Phillips family. Nityananda can protect you."

So what could be the "dark" family secret that will be revealed tomorrow by Mackenzie Philips? And why is she doing this? Of course we know that she wants some attention because she has written a book entitled "High on Arrival" which is her memoirs. She probably hopes to hook the public's attention on the book by revealing some family secrets on Oprah. Lets just hope that the secret she is going to reveal are really dark and explosive and stunning and not heard of before.

Update: Mackenzie Phillips has revealed the secret read it here in my new post.

Wow, this unfortunately takes place many more times than we may want to believe. That is why it's so important for mothers to be careful with their young daughters with their fathers...I worked in social work and have see too much of this...it's real and it's lasting effects are devastating.
