Reality starlet Tila Tequila was allegedly choked by her NFL superstar and current boyfriend Shawne Merriman. According to TMZ Tila Tequilla called the police Sunday after Merriman attacked her. Merriman and Tequila had some time that night in a club and then they went to Merriman's apartment. When Tequila tried to leave later, Merriman got angry and physically restrained her to the point of choking her. Tila was brought to the hospital as a result. Now Merriman is accused of battery and false imprisonment, his bil is set to $58,000. According to Merriman's lawyer, the NFL star did not choke the starlet, he just tried to keep her in his apartment because he thought that she was too drunk to leave, he thought that it was unsafe for her to leave his apartment in that very drunk state.
