The US Open Tennis weather is still bad but it cleared a little for a while to allow Rafael Nadal to finally reach the semifinals by beating Fernando Gonzalez of Chile on Saturday afternoon, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2), 6-0. But the rest of the day was again not good and officials are hoping for some sun to make it dry enough for the likes of Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters to get some play. Of course CBS was also forced by the weather to show the 1991 match between Aaron Krickstein and jimmy Connors.
