Destiny's air supply is failing and it is slowly filled up with carbon dioxide so a team is assigned to go down to a desert planet to find the minerals needed to clean up the spaceship's air. The team tested a lot of different samples of sand on the planet but the mineral they are looking for is illusive. Time is running out and they have to act fast. They decided to divide the team into two to cover more grounds. The planet's heat is beginning to be very unbearable but the teams works on to find what they need. Dr. Rush falls ill and he can't go on so Lt. Rush decides to go alone and orders Sgt. Greer to bring Dr. Rush back to safety. Back at the ship life seems to be nearing the end.
