An arrest of one person was made in connection with the Ashley Jewell death. A.J. Jewel was fiance of Kandi Burruss, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and former Xscape lead singer and songwriter. Jewel was working at the Body Tap club when an altercation in the parking lot led to a fight that caused his death. The person who was arrested in connection with his killing is Fredrick Richardson who is now charged with voluntary manslaughter.
