Senator Ted Kennedy has passed away tonight after battling with brain cancer for some time. He was 77. Here is BBC's report about his death:
Veteran US Senator Edward Kennedy, the brother of ex-President John F Kennedy, has died at the age of 77, after a long battle with a brain tumour.
He became a Democratic Massachusetts senator in 1962, replacing his brother when he resigned to become president, and was re-elected seven times.
Senator Kennedy had been a dominant force in liberal US politics for almost half a century.
Recently he was an active supporter of President Barack Obama.
He has championed issues like healthcare and education.
Here's the statement of the Kennedy Family about his death:
“Edward M. Kennedy – the husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle we loved so deeply – died late Tuesday night at home in HyannisPort. We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever.
We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice, fairness and opportunity for all. He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it. He always believed that our best days were still ahead, but it’s hard to imagine any of them without him.”

Life is pretty so fast ... you can't stop it.. RIP.
That’s a terrible thing for American…and the world; we all lost a great man and also a long legacy of family patriots and supporters to the American people and politics. We will miss you. Condolences to the family.
“Teddy Kennedy was the weak kitten in the litter, never able to measure up to his brothers.
The accident at Chappaquiddick displayed his chronic immaturity. One problem Teddy has always had was keeping it in his pants – even when other people are around.”
- Cleo O’Donnell – wife of former Kennedy campaign aide.
Read my take on the senator, and stick around for more good content.

This is sad, condolences to his family. He really was an admirable person and this is a big loss for all the people and groups he supported and other politicians might not be brave enough to.
Take care.
I prefer to remember his this way:
