Nissan is now joining the green party. The car company has just unveiled Nissan Leaf which is Nissan's green alt-fuel car. The car will be made available to Japan and American automobile market by middle of next year. The global roll out would not happen until 2012.
"We are seeing electric cars not as a niche car but as a mass-market car," Carlos Ghosn, Chief Executive of Nissan, said after the unveiling of Nissan Leaf during the inauguration of the new global headquarters of Nissan in Yokohama. The world is going green ha.
