Paula Abdul has announced last night via Twitter that she is not coming back to American Idol. So the confirmation has come at last. This has been buzzing for the last few weeks and now it's final.
Fox has released a statement about it after Paula Abdul's tweeting:
"Paula Abdul has been an important part of the 'American Idol' family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show. While Paula will not be continuing with us, she's a tremendous talent and we wish her the best."
